The gentlest and most hydrating of Alumier™’s peels, this 30% lactic acid formula effectively loosens dead skin cells to reveal brighter, plumper, more even-toned skin. It is an excellent choice for first-timers or clients with sensitive skin.
AHA Duo
Combining 20% glycolic acid for deeper exfoliation and 10% lactic acid for brightening and hydration, this AHA peel is ideal for normal to combination skin that requires a balanced treatment.
The BHA 20
Formulated with 20% salicylic acid, this peel is perfect for oily, acneic, or congested skin. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble and anti-inflammatory, penetrating the pore lining to exfoliate trapped sebum and debris while reducing redness.
The Glow
This 7% formula combines salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol to address a variety of skin concerns. Clients typically experience a warming and tingling sensation upon application of the peel, which peaks and then diminishes within a few minutes. The treatment is comfortably tolerable and meticulously timed. Following neutralization of the peel, a soothing medicated moisturizer is applied to calm and rebalance the skin. Finally, an SPF 30 is applied to protect the skin from UV damage.
The number of peels needed depends on your skin type, tone, and texture. While a single peel can be ideal for prepping for an event, a course of 4-6 peels is recommended for optimal results. During your consultation, we will recommend the best approach for you.
For gentle cleansing, hydration, and sun protection after the peel, we offer a complimentary kit of Alumier™ MD post-care cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF for use in the days following the treatment. Light day makeup can be applied if needed. Refrain from using products containing retinoids (such as Retin-A, Tazorac, or retinol) for at least 7 days after the peel, and avoid other skin treatments for the same duration.
